Finding Us Priory Cottage is situated just off the A36 in Abbey Lane, on the road into the village of Freshford. Approaching from Bath Take the A36 from Bath City Centre in the direction of Warminster. Follow this road for approximately 4 miles and you will reach a set of traffic lights (the old Viaduct pub will be on your right). Go straight through these lights and continue up to the top of the hill. Pass a left turn for Limpley Stoke and Freshford and continue until you see a sign for Sharpstone and Freshford. There is also a large sign for Homewood Park Hotel. Turn left at this sign and Priory Cottage can be found on your right hand side. Approaching from the South Take the major roads to join the A36. Pass through the village of Woolverton and continue on towards Bath. You will pass a petrol station on your right hand side, just past this is a turning left for Hinton Charterhouse – DO NOT turn left but continue straight on for another 200 yards. The road will dip slightly and as you come out of the dip you will see a signpost on your right hand side for Freshford and Sharpstone. There is also a large sign for Homewood Park Hotel. Turn right here and Priory Cottage can be found on your right hand side. |
